Twin 1-year-old babies died Friday after they were left in a vehicle for eight hours in NY, police said.

The pair was left in the auto at 130 West Kingsbridge Road for just short of eight hours, as Rodriguez worked his job as a social worker for the nearby Veterans Administration hospital, sources said.

The children have been named as Mariza and Phoenix Rodriguez.

The father of seven-month-old twins pulled his vehicle onto the side of the road, got out and screamed after forgetting his twins inside his auto for 8 hours on Friday.

A source told WPIX that the 37-year-old man went to work at the Veterans Affairs hospital nearby.

"On July 26, 2019, at 1608 hours police responded to a report of an aided male inside a auto at West Kingsbridge Highway and Kingsbridge Terrace, throughout the confines of the 50 Precinct".

The cause of their deaths hasn't yet been determined. They have been finally discovered "foaming on the mouth" earlier than being pronounced lifeless hours later by paramedics. He then frantically got out of the vehicle and summoned help.
