Barcelona Could Still Sign Both Antoine Griezmann, Neymar

Neymar should never have left Barcelona Bebeto

The Spanish champions are expected to sign Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann after he stated his desire to leave the club - which surely means at least another season in the French capital for the Brazilian.

Spain's tax authorities are also investigating Neymar over a bonus he earned at Barcelona and the transfer fee paid to him by PSG, while he remains in dispute with Barca regarding a loyalty payment of 26 million euros.

Last week Barcelona vice-president Jordi Cardoner claimed that Neymar wants to return to the Spanish champions, with local media reporting that the player was willing to take a pay cut of €12m to push the deal through.

"PSG want Coutinho and have been weighing up [a move] for a while", sources at the Catalan club told ESPN FC.

It is the wildest rumor of the Liverpool transfer window but many fans are holding out hope that the club's interest in PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe is genuine.

LaLiga president, Javier Tebas, has admitted he would prefer for Neymar not to return to Barcelona. He will now go to Belo Horizonte to watch the Copa America Semi Finals between Brazil and Argentina.

Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele have both been bought in since Neymar's departure in an effort to fill the void left by the Brazilian, but both have struggled.

Whatever happens Barcelona hold the majority of the cards and president Josep Maria Bartomeu has laid down the law to Neymar.

Sport believe that the only way Barcelona could pull off a deal for Neymar would be in a cash plus player deal which is where Coutinho comes into the fold.
