7 hidden clues in Taylor Swift’s ‘ME!’ video

Screen Shot

Swift released "ME!" - featuring Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco - on streaming services and also dropped its eye-popping music video Friday.

Taylor Swift will open next week's Billboard Music Awards with a performance of her new single "ME!"

What I do know for sure is her new album will likely be a banger if "ME!" is a sign of things to come. Yes, and I'm not the only one-read this play-by-play Shannon Keating penned for Buzzfeed News.

It's no secret that Swift is a feline fanatic; in a video for TIME, she explained they are one of her three big influences in life at the moment.

Before her official interview, Swift admitted that she was crying in the greenroom backstage over this emotional release.

Was my icy cold bisexual heart warmed ever so slightly by Swift screaming at Urie in French about their "children" (her cats)? Swift has previously collaborated with artists from every genre and level, and her collaboration with Urie isn't as surprising as you may think it is: Urie was spotted at a California tour date of Swift's Reputation Stadium Tour. She switched up her Instagram aesthetic earlier this year, ditching the reputation-era snakes in favor of something resembling a Lisa Frank mood board: rainbow hues, palm trees, glitter, butterflies, and heart-shaped diamonds filled her feed.

The star had been teasing her fans with cryptic clues about the title and themes of her new single, and now we finally get to see what she was talking about. The two musicians have also penned the lyrics along with Joel Little.

While her third outfit doesn't feature footwear, as her dress magically turns into a waterfall, the fourth look pays homage to the '60s in a retro pink dress. This is a fun theory I will never let go of even if Swift marries four men and releases a song called "Me: I'm straight".
