Robert Downey the only Avenger the Russos trusted with Endgame script

Avengers Endgame Tickets Expected to Go on Sale Sunday in India via BookMyShow Paytm More

One that will see superheroes such as Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Black Panther and Doctor Strange head up the Avengers - even though a lot of them are now dead.

However, Joe and Anthony Russo have now directed four movies for Marvel, and not just any four movies, but four of the biggest movies within the MCU: Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and now Avengers: Endgame.

The film features Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Brie Larson, Paul Rudd, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, Josh Brolin, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Winston Duke, and Tessa Thompson among others.

Far From Home is said to be set mere minutes after the events of Endgame - so this should be a doozy. "You're the first one I've told that to".

As far as phase 4 is concerned, Marvel has yet to make any official announcements.

Avengers: Endgame, which opens this Wednesday, is the epic finale to a story that fans have been eagerly following since 2008. Such as how Phase 2 ended with Ant-Man, which followed the much heavier Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Of course, the question still remains of just how Bruce and Hulk could end up coming together like this, but it's certainly looking more and more likely that this is the path Marvel will lead the hero down.

But, in another sense, this is odd seeing as Far From Home is the first post-Endgame movie where Thanos' Snap has presumably been reversed.

Avengers: Endgame hits theatres on 26 April.
