Dana White Expects Brock Lesnar to Be Daniel Cormier's Next Opponent

Daniel Cormier On Brock Lesnar, Jon Jones: 'The Mega Fight Is Jones & I'

Former heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar is now the front-runner to share the Octagon with Cormier for the final time, while "DC" is also open to the idea of a rematch with Stipe Miocic or the realisation of a trilogy with Jon Jones at 205lbs. Following the bout Cormier continued taunting current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar saying, "Brock Lesnar, when you come, bring that brand new WWE title".

Lewis earned the shot at the title after beating Alexander Volkov barely a month ago, but his quick return to the octagon failed to pay off after he tapped out in the second round of the clash in NY.

Cormier called out Lesnar for a blockbuster heavyweight bout. Lewis turned his back to Cormier and was able to get back to his feet, but Cormier was able to hold Lewis against the cage before yanking Lewis right back to the ground, this time closer to the center of the Octagon giving the advantage to Cormier.

After the fight, however, we learned the UFC champ-champ can be just like us average folks when it comes to making a mistake with your phone.

"Everything he did had unbelievable power", Cormier said. Even with former heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic seeking a rematch and Jon Jones' return from suspension at UFC 232 looming, Lesnar could end up being the final opponent of Cormier's career.

"What a guy Derrick Lewis is".

On Friday, Lesnar won the universal title in the scripted world of WWE, where he has performed for the majority of the past six years. I love his Instagram, I love his story and it was an honor for me to share the Octagon with him.

"I feel like being a WWE Champion too". I come in here and try to do my thing.

"You know what surprised me, I took that last shot, he punched me in the eye on the way in and I was blinking for about 30 seconds".

We'll likely see if Lesnar falls into that category in a few months.
