Chrissy Teigen Savagely Trolls John Legend After His EGOT Win

Andrew Lloyd Webber John Legend and Tim Rice- Outstanding Variety Special ÔJesus Christ Super Star Live in ConcertÕCreative Arts Emmys Press Room Day 2 Los Angeles USA- 09 Sep 2018

The win makes Legend, 39, the first black man and the youngest in history, to become an EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and a Tony winner).

The singer took home a Creative Arts Emmys award for Outstanding Variety Special (Live) for Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert on Sunday night, making him an EGOT victor! He also reminisced on his Grammy, Tony and Oscar wins, ahead of his endless gratitude for his Jesus Christ Superstar team.

Lopez is the only person to ever achieve a "double EGOT" - this is when the person has two or more awards in each of the categories. Of course, Legend also starred in Jesus Christ Superstar and is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie.

Legend, who has 10 Grammys, won a Tony award in 2017 for Best Revival of a Play as a co-producer for the August Wilson's stage play "Jitney;" and nabbed an Oscar for his original song "Glory" in 2015.

On Sunday, John managed to scoop the final piece in the puzzle, picking up an Emmy for his work as a producer on the musical special "Jesus Christ Superstar Live In Concert". On Sunday evening, Legend took to Instagram to acknowledge the historic career milestone.

Wife Chrissy Teigen posted a video of Legend using the bench from his piano to place the Emmy on the top shelf of his trophy wall.

John Legend has lived up to his name and reached EGOT status - which wouldn't be complete without Chrissy Teigen hilariously trolling her husband for the achievement.

They became just the 13th, 14th and 15th people to win all four awards all-time. And as of Sunday night, he's now an EGOT victor. The remainder of the 70th Annual Emmy Awards winners will be announced on Monday, September 17 on NBC.
