LiAngelo Ball declares for 2018 draft

UCLA guard Aaron Holiday, the younger brother of New Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue, announced Monday night that he will be declaring for the 2018 NBA Draft, via his Twitter account.

With Gelo no longer at UCLA, he signed a professional contract, along with his 16-year-old brother LaMelo, who was pulled out of high school by his father, for BC Vytautas, which is in Prienai, Lithuania. LiAngelo left the program after he was arrested for shoplifting in China and was suspended indefinitely.

Ball is expected to work out for some NBA teams and will participate in the Pro Basketball Combine in May, Gaines told Yahoo!

Even at 19 years old, technically an adult age, LiAngelo is a child simply because daddy is making all the moves.

LiAngelo is expected to work out for several National Basketball Association teams once he returns to the United States. "Whoever picks me up, I'm going to play my hardest for them and try to bring wins to the team". "Because if you've got three, only one, maybe two make it to the NBA", Lavar had told the magazine. Ball, 19, has submitted the required paperwork to enter the draft as a so-called "early-entry" player. So far, in 51 games played, he's averaging 10.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 7.3 assists while averaging 34.4 minutes.

Whereas Lonzo was an elite recruit out of Southern California's Chino Hills High and LaMelo famously scored 92 points in a single high school game, LiAngelo was given just three out of five stars by 247Sports, which ranked the 6ft5 forward as the 226th-rated player in his graduating class.
