YouTube Simplifies Livestreaming Process From Computers, Webcams, And Android Camera Apps

Get ready to start seeing more local ads on YouTube

Google-owned video sharing website and application YouTube has announced that smartphone users will soon be able to start a new live stream directly from the camera application of their smartphones.

Spike's Tactical argues YouTube banned their channel without prior warning, catching the company, customers and fans completely off guard. YouTube is building up a paid service with reduced ads as well as exclusive playlists, videos, and other content. The goal is to help teach kids how to discern what is fact and what is fiction when they're reading news articles or watching YouTube videos.

YouTube has quietly rolled out a new policy banning videos that promote gun sales.

As far as YouTube's upcoming music service goes, it is expected to have contracts with every major music production company possible, including Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music, Warner Music Group and a group of independent labels, called Merlin. This encoder would then work to send content from the desktop, camera and microphone to YouTube Live in order for the stream to happen. Most of those changes involved pulling ads from categories of videos.

But with native support in a half dozen different Android phone apps, the convenience might just encourage some people to switch to YouTube, at least for the short-form kind of content you'd usually stream from a mobile.

YouTube's upcoming subscription service is said to be a "necessary counterweight" against Apple Music and Spotify, who are now the leading online music services that generate significant revenue for the industry.

"There's a lot more people in our funnel that we can frustrate and seduce to become subscribers". So, to convert users, Cohen shared YouTube's new strategy.

In 2017, ad revenue from music streaming services accounted for less than 10 percent of music industry revenue in the United States.

"They will appreciate in time the advertising". "Everyone is drunk on the growth of subscription".

Bloomberg reports that YouTube issued a statement in coordination with new prohibitions, saying, "We routinely make updates and adjustments to our enforcement guidelines across all of our policies".
