Vivo X21 and X21 UD goes official in China with Jovi

The sale of the Vivo X21 will begin from 24th March and from 28th March for the Vivo X21 UD. Also, they stole the show at MWC 2018 with their 'APEX' concept smartphone last month whose fingerprint sensor almost cover the bottom half of the screen. The Vivo X21 sports a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED display on the front with Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, and 90.3% screen-to-body share.

The Vivo Y85 will be featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. On the front side also, there's a dual camera setup with two 12-megapixel lenses.

Coming so soon after the X20 Plus UD, the Vivo X21 isn't a complete redesign, but does offer some substantial upgrades over the previous device. This phone comes with in-display fingerprint sensor and dual rear camera setup. This variant comes only In 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The phone also comes with dedicated AI based camera features such as scene detection to recognise 17 different scenes.

In the camera department, there are 24MP & 5MP dual cameras on the rear with f/1.8 and f/2.4 aperture respectively. The company has introduced Jovi, which is Vivo's assistant based on artificial intelligence technology. The phone runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Funtouch OS 4.0 on the top. The devices also support advanced facial recognition for face unlock. Connectivity options in the smartphone includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, Global Positioning System and a USB Type-C port.

The X21 has a 3,200 mAh battery with fast-charging support. There's also another variant called the X21 Screen Fingerprint or 128GB model and without further ado, let's check out the official tech-specs.

The Vivo X21 will be available in three colors - Aurora White, Drill Black, and Ruby Red.

According to the latest report from GizmoChina, it looks like the only thing that is now left to be known is the price of the Vivo X21.
