Rachel McAdams is pregnant with her first child, E!

The maybe-mommy-to-be herself has yet to address the news as well, though she has always been open to the idea of having children of her own.

McAdams and her man have dealt with pregnancy speculations because she didn't show up for the premiere of her latest movie, Game Night, which was on the 21st of February, Wednesday. News she's been keeping a low profile because she is preparing to become a mum.

However, in a recent chat with Parade.com, she revealed she had "so much" to look forward to in 2018.

"Having a few [kids] would be great", she told People in 2009, adding that her own mum was a positive influence. McAdams went from being the girl we loved to hate in Mean Girls to being one half of our favorite on-screen couple in The Notebook.

"My mum is a great inspiration to me.She's a nurse and very nurturing and gentle".

As it turns out, McAdams has not only dated our #MCMs (umm, hello Ryan Gosling and Jake Gyllenhaal), she's proved that she isn't just a serious actor, she's a serial monogamous who doesn't play around with her relationships. "Hopefully I can take on those qualities and be as great as her".

McAdams has not yet confirmed the news, though she has been vocal about the hopes of one day becoming a mother.

Linden also has a famous ex: He reportedly dated Zooey Deschanel from 2012 to 2014.
