Fortnite Battle Royale Season 3 Battle Pass Details

Tomorrow's incoming 3.0 update to Fortnite: Battle Royale keeps sounding better, as Epic Games has now announced improvements to the game's building system.

You can now continuously place the selected building piece by holding down the Primary Fire button.

If you run out of materials while building, you'll now automatically switch to the next material with available resources.

You'll also now be able to build through stuff, even large objects including trees, rocks, and vehicles. The goal behind this is to prevent these objects from unexpectedly blocking your building placement, but the flexibility it offers could also create room for some brand new strategies. The update should make things far more responsive, and the changes are due to come to Save the World mode at a later date.

However, the team has warned that Matchmaking for Battle Royale will be disabled a little earlier at 3:35 AM EST, which once again, is 8.35AM GMT. From graphics to cosmetics, to guns, players will witness a flurry of new content and upgrades.

The changes implemented also promise to make the menu interaction for building a lot more smoother, something which although not awful, can be a little clunky at times.

Epic GamesPromo image for "Fortnite's" Battle Pass season 3. Epic Games has said they have adjusted the XP gains to allow players to still complete this Battle Pass in roughly the same time it took to complete the Season 2 one. "I can't wait for players to hear it in the game". Arguably, the biggest change coming with the update is the nerf of the double pump shotgun.

You can read the full patch notes right here.

Many players complained about the strength of the pump shotgun, which boasted high damage and a fast reload time, making it overpowered. Epic has also implemented back blings, skydiving visual effects, and switchable loading screens this time too.

One of the many ways players feel taken care of with the dev team behind Fortnite. An official blog post outlines everything we know ahead of release.
