Burnout Paradise Remastered will have the original game's awesome soundtrack

Burnout Paradise

The original Burnout Paradise received a number of DLC packs, and the eight main ones that launched during the Year of Paradise are included in the remaster. "What we created 10 years ago, is as fun and unique today as it was back then", said Matt Webster, General Manager at Criterion Games. Did many of you play Burnout Paradise back in the day?

Licensed soundtracks are a particular problem for remasters because often the licence only lasts a certain period of time and companies consider it too expensive to extend it - which in the past has ruined re-releases of Dreamcast-era games like Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio. Burnout Paradise Remastered will also have a range of technical enhancements for greater visual compatibility for high resolution textures for players to explore Paradise City in 4K with supporting 60FPS on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.

Burnout Paradise Remastered is due out on March 16 for PS4 and Xbox One.

Before yesterday's official announcement, rumors stated that Burnout Paradise Remastered would also release on Nintendo Switch. It'll mark the first time the latter two were made officially available on PC, as the Big Surf Island expansion was only attainable through a complex mod despite only being exclusive to PS3 and 360 versions.

Burnout Paradise will deliver the same action-packed experience that gripped gamers when the title first came out. Those with EA Access will also get their hands on the title for 10 hours a bit earlier on Xbox One starting March 9.

Burnout Paradise Remastered by Criterion Games, a studio of Electronic Arts Inc. In the latter two, the game will be on 4K resolution at 60 frames per second across all platforms, with EA indicating that a PC version is likely coming out soon.
