According to GasBuddy historical data, gasoline prices on February 19 in San Bernardino have ranged widely over the last five years: $2.92 in 2017, $2.40 in 2016, $2.84 in 2015, $3.74 in 2014 and $4.25 in 2013.

According to AAA, gas prices in the state have dropped 11 cents in 10 days.

MI ranks 19th in the country for the least expensive average daily gas price and is first in the nation for biggest weekly and monthly change in price.

The lowest price in Harker Heights on Saturday was $1.99 per gallon at Sam's Club, 600 W. Central Texas Expressway.

In Florida, the most expensive average gas price was $2.69 in the West Palm Beach-Boca Raton area.

The seasonal maintenance forces some refineries to reduce production capacity, which typically results in less gasoline being available for consumption.

"The question isn't how low will they go, but how long will we see prices decline", Jeanette Casselano, director of public relations at AAA said in a statement.

Drivers can find the least expensive gas near them by downloading the AAA app.

Nebraska's average price a month ago was $2.54, and a year ago it was $2.33. Last week's figures showed only minor gains in production and inventory levels.

Prices fell in "nearly every state.as retail gas prices saw more catching up to the previous decline in crude oil prices", said Patrick DeHaan, head of petroleum analysis for GasBuddy.

Crude oil prices rose a total of $2.48 per barrel on the NYMEX last week, closing at $61.68 on Friday. A year ago at this time, it was $2.28 a gallon. Oil inventory is down more than 18 percent, while gasoline is down 4 percent, signifying a large increase in USA exports.
