Starving California children taunted with pie, beaten by parents

Elizabeth Flores admits she has not had a close relationship with her sister for 20 years, but now, she hopes she can offer supportive words to her nieces and nephews.

"I had no idea this was going on", he told the Press-Enterprise newspaper of Riverside.

The pair sped across the country to Texas before they were caught by police and brought home.

One video shows 10 female children in matching purple plaid dresses walking down the aisle ahead of Louise toward David, who waited at the altar with two male children in suits.

David Turpin's mother has defended him to the media, stating that the couple had a "highly respectable family".

On Friday, Louise Turpin stared from the front page of the Bluefield Daily Telegraph with her husband David, and another step had been taken in building the case against them.

Some parents choose home-schooling because they believe that, in regular public schools, important educational priorities have been subordinated to standardized test scores.

TWO healthy dogs have been rescued from the "House of Horrors" where 13 children were allegedly starved and tortured by their own parents.

Lambert's claim about the couple wanting to expand their family was also supported by Louise Turpin's younger sister, Teresa Robinette.

Adding, 'They thought it would make them millions and household names.

Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestrin told ABC News in the U.S. that that police had also recovered "hundreds of journals" from the home which would hopefully provide "powerful evidence" on events inside the "house of horrors". He went on to acknowledge that they had been through a "traumatic ordeal" (to say the least!) but were "very friendly and cooperative" with the staff.

"He was angry at my mom for letting them date".

She told the Mail Online she had a conversation about her baby plans just last month with her.

She went on to share about her sister: "I want her to know that she's still my blood and I love her".

"They may live with their families but they have no access to outsiders, such as professionals or playmates", she explains.

Equally freaky are claims that the House of Horror parents each giving all thirteen children a name starting with the letter J (as opposed to K as the Kardashian clan famously have....), with the couple adamant that they start trying for a fourteen child in the near future despite what appeared to be a series of unresolvable financial quandaries.

Mr Lambert said: "She used to say how they would be flawless for TV and would often mention they would be bigger than the reality show Kate Plus 8". "Many of the children didn't know what a police officer was, " he said.

Louise Turpin was seen smirking in court, which heard how only their two-year-old child was spared from cruel torture.

These include 12 counts of torture, 12 counts of false imprisonment, seven counts of abuse of a dependent adult and six counts of child abuse.

The father was also charged with performing a lewd act on a child under age 14.

Each faces 94 years to life in prison if convicted on the more than two dozen charges.

"They didn't care about the kids - it was all about them". "He never touched me or anything". Their families have not shied from speaking, as evidenced by a statement from Louise's half-brother, Billy Lambert. They didn't think that much about it, because "they were always amusing and private anyway, even before they ever had children", Flores noted. I'm not just saying this stuff.

On Thursday, the couple appeared briefly in Riverside County Superior Court and pleaded not guilty to all charges.
