Counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway: 'Nobody here talks about Hillary Clinton'

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway stands by as reporters speak to attendees of the event combatting drug demand and the opioid crisis outside the West Wing of the White House on Thursday October 26th 2017

"The fact is, we only have to talk about her because people won't let go of an election that she lost miserably", said Conway. He also acknowledged how often Trump talks about Clinton on Twitter as well. Nobody here talks about her. "Hey Chris, Nobody here talks about Hillary Clinton, I promise you".

On Wednesday night, #Kellyanne Conway got into a heated exchange with CNN host Chris Cuomo over the ongoing Russian investigation and the White House's constant need to deflect back to #Hillary Clinton.

President Donald Trump has made it abundantly clear that he is not done talking about his former opponent, Hillary Clinton. This time, Trump responded by criticizing the FBI's handling of its 2016 interview with Clinton in its probe of her use of a private email server when she was secretary of state.

The two were engaged in a heated discussion about the Russian Federation investigation when Conway mentioned Clinton and the 2016 election.

Trump, on Wednesday, made it clear that border wall funding is a must-have in order for him to sign an immigration deal that, as Democrats continue to push for, includes a fix for the thousands of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program recipients who have been left in limbo after the administration repealed the Obama-era measure previous year.

"Russian interference matters and it doesn't delegitimize the president's victory", Cuomo said. The Washington Post points out that since taking office, Trump has tweeted about Clinton or "Crooked Hillary" about 70 times. "You guys are frozen in that moment, that's why you bring up Hillary Clinton, that's why you're having her investigated, it's as obvious as it is counterproductive".

Trump also railed against Clinton during a Wednesday press conference with the Norwegian prime minister.

CONWAY: Whoa, whoa, whoa, don't just do that just because it'll make for a great viral moment or a promo, I see them in all your Cuomo promos. After an interview on #Fox News the following morning where she once again doubled down on criticism of Clinton, Conway chose to gloat [VIDEO] about the ratings.
