Family of Bullying Victim Keaton Jones Thanks Social Media for Overwhelming Support

Chris Evans Invites Bullying Kid To 'Avengers: Infinity War' Premiere

The GoFundMe page for Keaton Jones, a bullied teen from Tennessee, has been halted due to family backlash.

During the video Keaton asks "Out of curiosity why do they bully?".

"Keaton didn't get to choose the family that raised & shaped him, you smug ghoul", tweeted Patton Oswalt after a Twitter follower asked him whether he would withdraw support after the allegations of racism.

After watching Keaton's video, there's a reality many are thinking of when it comes to his message.

Schilling said in his video that he "felt pretty moved" by Keaton's message, so he reached out to what he thought was the mom's account and offered to invite Keaton to an event in Los Angeles.

Snoop Dogg also shared the video with the caption "Say Lil Man U gotta friend in me for life hit me on dm so we can chop it up love is the only way to beat hate".

Faith in humanity restored.

Jones revealed that he was once again being bullied by his schoolmates. I think this is interesting because it shows how much of a problem it is. This video is heartbreaking!

He added: "I don't like that they do it to me and I for sure don't like that they do it to other people because it's not okay". I've even had friends of mine tell me kids were only nice to him to get him to mess with people.

In the world of news, Jones was met with praise from Fox News host Sean Hannity. They call me ugly. Thank u everyone, ' White wrote.

One of the first to respond to the video was the Tennessee Titans' Delanie Walker, who reached out to Jones and his mother on Twitter Saturday with words of encouragement and an offer of tickets to a Titans game. Principal Clay says that particular incident - which was described by Keaton with tears in his eyes - was resolved "weeks ago", and he wasn't aware of repeated bullying of Keaton.

But while people were quick to show their support for Keaton, there was something dark going on under the surface.

The intention was to help out a victim of bullying, but some say they are feeling hustled.

Actor Will Poulter, executive producer of The Vampire Diaries & The Originals, Julie Plec, Chris Brown, Cardi B, actress and activist Patricia Arquette, actor Patrick J Adams and actress Jaimie Alexander, all expressed their support Keaton. He said he hoped to use the donations for a "private school or college fund".
