The pair have been dating for less than a year but Joe revealed the news on his Instagram page on Sunday evening.

This comes shortly after Sophie Turner, whose first acting gig was "Game of Thrones" opened up about what it was like being the girlfriend of a popular celebrity.

Jonas, 28, also shared the photo with a similar post: "She said yes".

"You do feel like you're living in a fishbowl", she told the publication.

Sophie and Joe have been dating since November, after they were spotted acting cozy at a concert in the Netherlands. The star appropriately captioned the photo, "She said yes". "It's frustrating that it's the most mundane things that make the news - how boring!"

It sounds like Joe Jonas won't be "kissing strangers" any longer: He and Sophie Turner are engaged.

'He was getting very touchy-feely with her in the VIP bar before the show, then kissed her and had his arms wrapped around her while the band were on.

"Queen! I love you so much xo."
And people I've met recently in my life have drawn me out of that.

Alongside the picture of the ring, he wrote on Twitter: "Ahh!"

In September, Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, both 30, who played love interests Jon Snow and Ygritte in "Game of Thrones", announced their own engagement.

Jonas's brother Nick was among those to send congratulations online.
