British model 'kidnapped and drugged' before being AUCTIONED online

The woman was held for six days in Milan Italy

A 30-year-old Polish national, who lives in the United Kingdom, has been arrested on kidnapping charges, police say.

The 20-year-old woman was attacked on July 11 by two men as she attended an arranged photo shoot.

When the model arrived at the fake studio near the city's central railway station a day later, she was anaesthetised with the drug ketamine which was injected into her arm before she was undressed and photographed.

Italian police say the offender demanded 50,000 Euros to free her and "threatened to kill her" if she told officers what happened to her.

Lukasz Herba was arrested July 17th outside the British consulate in Milan while accompanying the woman, said Lorenzo Bucossi, the head of the Milan Police Mobile Command unit.

"You have a two-year-old child and our rules exclude mothers", the kidnapper allegedly told her according to the Italian report.

The 20-year-old model had travelled to Italy for what turned out to be a bogus photo shoot in Milan.

Her kidnapper reportedly demanded €300,000 off her agent in the United Kingdom to prevent her "sale" online.

Officers went through Herba's phone and computer and said they found photos of the woman and material stating she was for sale, while hair from both the model and Herba was found in the boot of his vehicle.

He has been charged with kidnapping for the purposes of extortion. It is now unclear why the kidnapping came to an end.

Investigations in the case are ongoing in Italy, Poland and the United Kingdom.

They also traced his mobile phone and tracked down a taxi driver who gave him a lift and were able to lie in wait at the Consulate for him.

A spokeswoman for the Foreign Office said: "We have been providing consular support to a British woman in Italy and are in touch with local authorities".

Police said they were not sure if the group actually existed.
