The most favorable time for storms will be during the afternoon and evening. All of the storms will produce heavy rain and frequent lightning.

Storms will begin to enter western New Hampshire around 5 p.m., moving east through the evening.

The NWS said South Central Texas can expect localized pockets of heavy rain with the possibility of strong storms through Wednesday morning.

Friday, expect mostly sunny skies and a high near 84, the weather service said, with a south wind of 6 to 10 miles per hour.

There's a slight chance of showers during the day Friday, but conditions should be mostly sunny with a high near 74.

Temperatures throughout Wednesday are expected to reach into the high 80s during the day and fall to the mid 60s in the evening.

Sunday, with a high in the upper 70s, could bring showers and thunderstorms.

Saturday night, it will be partly cloudy with a low of 65, according to the weather service.
