Rumour has it that popular television actress Mouni Roy is set to be launched on the big screen by none other than Salman Khan.

Salman Khan is known to kick start the Bollywood careers of innumerable deserving artists, such as Katrina Kaif and Sonakshi Sinha. Currently, Mouni is seen in the second season of TV series "Naagin" whereas Salman has two movies, Kabir Khan's "Tubelight" and Ali Abbas Zafar's "Tiger Zinda Hai" in his kitty. Mouni and Salman in the past have shared a great chemistry during the reality show Bigg Boss, and he reportedly sees great potential in Mouni. The "Naagin" actress has gained enormous popularity in her small screen stint as she has done projects like, "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi", "Devon Ke Dev - Mahadev" and "Junoon - Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq". She first grabbed eyeballs as Krishnatulsi in Ekta Kapoor's famous daily soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 10 years ago.

The actress is now seen in TV series, Naagin 2, which is said to be is soon going off air and is expected to be back with its third season in November with the new cast.

According to DNA, Salman believes that Mouni has all the qualities of traditional Indian heroines and is planning to launch her in one of his upcoming home productions. Even though no one has confirmed these reports but, this looks like one surprising news for all Mouni Roy fans. They hang around the Khans' Galaxy Apartment.
