What's new in the Upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8?

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 didn't sell as well and the Note 7 was a disaster from start to premature end.

It's a great idea, upgrading the security like that, and it's possible Samsung could parlay this move into a major push as the new king of mobile security. However, this design is at odds with other recent leaks, and some we've encountered previously.

A video posted to Vimeo shows the Galaxy S8 with a score of 205284, destroying the iPhone 7 Plus' score of 181807 (the iPhone 7 scores 173575). As with all leaks, there is a chance that details may change before the big launch, but Mr Blass is a pretty safe bet. If this turns out to be the official pricing, we must say that it's a huge amount of money.

As the new Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 is a high range smartphone, it comes with a price tag of Rs 39,490.

The leaks come courtesy of Evan Blass (who else), and as you can see in the main image above, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will be available in a variety of colors including Black Sky, Orchid Grey, and Arctic Silver.

The regular Galaxy S8 will feature a 5.8-inch, 2,960 x 1,440 display, while the larger Galaxy S8+ will use a 6.2-inch screen with the same resolution. And of course, minimal bezels. Obviously, the Galaxy S8's Snapdragon 835 chip (and rumored 4GB of RAM) is going to provide users with plenty of power. The imaging department comprises of 16MP cameras at the rear and front. In addition to this, the new phone will also feature two front cameras, with one for selfies and the other for iris scanning.

It's now unclear if or why Samsung wouldn't feature the 835 processor in every model of the S8 but it's possible enough supply and cost could be a factor.

The company is unlikely to show off the headset until March 29th when it officially unveils the Galaxy S8. There's no word on the Indian launch date, though. Bixby is Samsung's new artificial intelligence-powered voice assistant, that is rumoured to support seven to eight languages at the time of launch. Do you feel that the Galaxy S8 will reach the expectations or the hype it has created?
